My name is Jon Callahan
After reading J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings as a teenager, I set my sights on someday becoming a writer.
I took my first steps to achieve this dream by pursuing an English degree at the University of Notre Dame, but ultimately earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of Arizona and an M.A. in Theology from the University of San Francisco. Thus began my lifelong journey along the road less traveled, which, after many years, led me back to writing.
So, rest assured. Although the subject matter of my work (malls) may seem superficial, I have spent a lifetime exploring life’s deeper mysteries, and that spirit informs all of my writing.
